We stayed in Piedmont in Italy for a week, during which it mostly rained. However we did get one day in the mountains.
This lake is at about 1900m. A refuge (Rifugio Livio Bianco) sits at the side of the lake in an incredible setting, however was closed in May when we were there.
This picture was taken at the bridge at the top of the valley before a path leading to the refuge.
A few hundred metres climb further on is a second lake, however the weather closed in so we legged it.
